Purposes of the Armorial Program

To enhance participation in Commandery Activities

To advance the Knight of One Objectives

To contribute to our philanthropies

To recognize and remember our Fraters

Concept of the Armorial Program

Much like the Mark Master's Masonic Mark, the Armorial Program is meant to afford a Sir Knight with the opportunity to create armorial bearings that uniquely identify his presence.

The Role of the Oregon One Herald

The Herald shall have the authority to approve a registration or return for revision armorial bearings under consideration. An objection to the decision of the Herald may be presented to the Commander. The Commander has ultimate authority if there is an appeal regarding any action taken by the Herald.

The Herald shall upon the request of a Sir Knight provide assistance in the design of armorial bearings.

If a design is returned for revision, the Herald shall provide options which would result in an acceptable design.

The Herald shall perform conflict checking.

The Herald shall evaluate any documentation regarding the use of arms previously registered by an International Granting Authority. The Herald shall have the authority decide the sufficiency of the materials presented.
